Both Dakota Wesleyan University men's and women's basketball teams moved up in the most recent NAIA Division II coaches poll released Tuesday.
After winning two contests against Grace College (Neb.) and College of St. Mary (Neb.), the DWU women moved from No. 16 to No. 14. The Tigers are locked in a three-way tie for second in the Great Plains Athletic Conference with a 13-7 conference record. There are two regular season games remaining.
Meanwhile, the DWU men moved up one spot to No. 15 after winning their lone contest last week against Morningside College (Iowa). The Tigers are third in the GPAC with a 12-6 conference record with two games remaining.
DWU is back in action today in a doubleheader at 6 and 8 p.m. against Northwestern College (Iowa) at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
