SPRINGFIELD-Bon Homme sprinter Anna Heusinkveld has signed a national letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College (Iowa) next fall.
A Springfield native, Heusinkveld has three school records for the Cavaliers, including the 100-meter run and being part of school record-setting 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.
She finished sixth at the state meet in the 100m as a sophomore and has personal bests of 12.45 in the 100m and 26.5 in the 200m. She plans to major in elementary education.
