WAGNER-The Bon Homme/Scotland baseball team swept Wagner/Avon/Lake Andes on Sunday in Wagner. BH/S won the first game 10-0 and the second 20-1.
In Game 1, Chase Kortan and John Kubal had three hits each, while Cole Uecker had two hits and 3 RBI for BH/S. Christian Uecker-who picked up the win-and Kortan combined on a two-hit shutout allowing two hits, one walk and nine strikeouts.
In Game 2, Kortan went 3-for-4 with four runs and five RBIs to lead the offense while Cole Uecker had three hits and four RBIs.
Bryce Scieszinksi pitched a one-hitter for BH/S, allowing one run while striking out nine.
BH/S ends the regular season at 8-2 and will host Wagner at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in Tabor in the first round of the playoffs.

West Central 8, McCook 3
SALEM-Late-inning runs doomed the McCook baseball team on Sunday, as it fell to West Central 8-3 in Salem. West Central scored three runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth to seal the victory.
Kendall Gassman took the loss for McCook, pitching 1.1 innings while allowing two runs on one hit. McCook was held to four hits as a team.
McCook sits at 6-6 on the season.
