PARKSTON - There were just six total hits in the game but Bon Homme/Scotland prevailed, defeating Parkston 3-0 at The Pond in Parkston Thursday.
Bryce Scieszinski led the Cavaliers at the plate, going 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the fifth inning to open the scoring. In the sixth, Sam Caba knocked in Kortan on a fielder's choice and Tanner VanDriel scored on a wild pitch.
For Parkston (2-1), Jordan McKean and Jake DeLange had the lone hits.
Chase Kortan earned the complete game win for the Cavaliers, striking out 11 batters and allowing just two hits. Parkston's Alex Scott threw five-and-one-third innings in the loss, allowing three hits and no earned runs.
