CRETE, Neb. -- Dakota Wesleyan University did not need much offense to scoot past Doane on the road Saturday.
Senior Jocelyn Behm scored the lone goal of the game an unassisted tally at the 53:45 mark of the second half to give the Tigers a 1-0 Great Plains Athletic Conference victory, DWU’s second win in a row.
Doane (5-8-1, 1-7-1 GPAC) peppered DWU with eight shots in the first half and 22 for the game, but only 10 landed on goal and goalkeeper Hannah Bowes stopped them all for the shutout win.
Dakota Wesleyan (5-9-1, 2-8-1 GPAC) closes the regular season against Concordia at 4 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex.
