Tripp-Delmont/Armour turned a one-point deficit into a 13-point victory on Thursday.

The Nighthawks trailed 25-24 after the third quarter, but outscored the Golden Eagles 15-3 in the final quarter of a 40-27 boys basketball victory.

“It came down to the fourth quarter,” Mitchell Christian coach Jesse Tolsma said. “It was a two-point game going in there and we just had a few defensive breakdowns in the fourth quarter. We kind of got away from our details and what we were trying to do as a team.”

The contest was close throughout, with TDA leading 10-9 after the first quarter and 18-17 at halftime.

TDA’s Logan Van Pelt scored nine of his game-high 17 points in the final period. Anders Enga paced Mitchell Christian with 10 points, while Micah Frey added eight points and eight rebounds. Nathanael Anderberg finished with seven points.
