NEW HOLLAND -- Andes Central/Dakota Christian rode a balanced scoring effort to top the Mitchell Christian girls basketball team, 62-44, on Thursday.

ACDC led 24-21 at halftime, but grew it to a 12-point advantage at the end of the third quarter. It scored 17 points in the third frame. The Thunder capped its win with a 21-point fourth quarter.

Mackenzie Muckey paced ACDC with 22 points and seven rebounds. Josie Brouwer and Allison Muckey scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, in the win. Lexie VanderPol grabbed five rebounds and Isabella Brouwer dished out five assists.

For Mitchell Christian, Audrey Hofer had team highs of 21 points and five rebounds. Whisper Eben chipped in 11 points, Maggie Reynen scored 10 points and Staci Wolbrink recorded three steals in the loss.

ACDC (7-1) plays Tri-Valley on Saturday in Madison. Mitchell Christian (2-7) plays Jones County on Monday in Murdo.
