EMERY -- Bridgewater-Emery picked up a 79-41 boys basketball victory over Colman-Egan on Monday.

Bridgewater-Emery (7-2): Tyler Kjetland led the Huskies with 28 points and eight rebounds. Sutton Arend added 14 points, while Bodie Burnham dished out five assists. The Huskies play Ethan on Tuesday in Emery.

Colman-Egan (0-7): Austin Gullickson finished with 11 points. The Hawks play Garretson on Friday in Colman.

CANISTOTA -- Canistota topped Wynot (Neb.) in boys basketball action on Monday.

Canistota (6-0): Tyce Ortman paced the Hawks with 15 points and four assists. Logan Katzer contributed 14 points and seven boards. Chase Merrill added 13 points and nine rebounds. Isiah Robertson scored 12 points. The Hawks host Ethan on Friday.

Wynot (8-4): Anthony Haberman scored 14 points, while Chase Schroeder finished with 11 points.

Burke 59, Lyman 41

PRESHO -- Burke outscored Lyman 22-9 in the fourth quarter and picked up a girls basketball victory on Monday.

Burke (4-4): Sally Hakin led the Cougars with 22 points, six rebounds and six steals. Adisyn Indahl added 14 points and Bobbi Jo Wischmann netted 11 points. Ramee Hanson collected six rebounds. The Cougars travel to Colome on Thursday.

Lyman (1-8): Skyler Volmer finished with 17 points, while Raelee Middletent added 13 points. Makaylee Scott recorded seven points and 10 rebounds. The Raiders travel to White River on Jan. 19.
