HURON -- The Mitchell Christian School boys basketball team held a one-point lead heading into halftime, but James Valley Christian found its offense in the second half.

The Vikings scored 31 points after the break and outscored the Golden Eagles by 18 en route to a 48-31 win on Tuesday in a game that did not feature a double-digit scorer for either team.

Nathanael Anderberg had nine points, while Ty Vander Pol posted eight points, 14 rebounds and three steals for Mitchell Christian (0-16), which shot 22.9 percent from the field in defeat.

Rich Rink and Landon Wallman had nine points apiece for James Valley Christian (2-16), which hosts Wessington Springs on Feb. 21.

The Golden Eagles play Hanson on Thursday in Alexandria.
