Already pushed back, snow forced the 40th annual Parkston Classic schedule to reshuffled once again on Monday.
The first of the two-day classic had already been moved from Saturday to Monday, but rather than canceling for the second year in a row, the games will now be played on Jan. 18. The second day of games are still slated to be played today, starting at 10:30 a.m in Parkston.
A pair of games scheduled for the Corn Palace were also moved back one day, as Hanson will face Kimball/White Lake in boys basketball action at 2:15 p.m. and the Hanson girls will play Avon at approximately 3:45 p.m.
Three games lost to snow in the Huron Classic have also been rescheduled for Friday at James Valley Christian in Huron. The Ethan boys are slated to play Ipswich at 4 p.m., Sanborn Central/Woonsocket will face Ipswich in girls action at 5:30 p.m. and the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket boys take on Miller at 7 p.m.
The Swiftel Classic in Brookings -- featuring the Bon Homme and Chamberlain boys and the Canistota boys -- was canceled with no makeup date announced. The Entringer Classic is still set to take place today in Brookings.
