ABERDEEN -- South Dakota basketball fans have a chance to own a piece of history.

During the summer, Northern State University replaced its basketball court in the Barnett Center. Every SDHSAA Class B championship basketball game was played on the court since 1994 and Northern State is offering fans a chance to purchase a piece of the court. Cost of purchase ranges from $45 to $175.

Pieces of the court can be customized with generic or personalized information commemorating the 25 years of state basketball in Aberdeen. Proceeds fund athletic scholarships at NSU, while the SDHSAA receives a portion to be used with annual school and team expense reimbursements.
