After helping Bridgewater-Emery to a 7-0 record in Cornbelt Conference boys basketball play this season, senior Sawyer Schultz was named the MVP of the conference on Monday.
Schultz was joined on the first team by Hanson junior Reggie Slaba and Canistota sophomore Chase Merrill. Irene-Wakonda's Trey King and Viborg-Hurley's Brodee Sherman also garnered first-team recognition.
Bridgewater-Emery also placed two players on the second team in seniors Jamin Arend and Carter Dye. Tyce Ortman (Canistota), Braxton Schmidt (Freeman) and Chase Mason (Viborg-Hurley) rounded out the group.
Trey Ortman (Canistota), Jake Brooks (Howard), Trey Bohlmann (Menno), Riley Ferry (Hanson) and Levi Larsen (Irene-Wakonda) comprised the third team.
