Bridgewater-Emery's Arend named Cornbelt MVP
Bridgewater-Emery's Abigal Arend was named the Most Valuable Player of the Cornbelt Conference.
The senior was named to the all-Cornbelt first-team, along with Menno's Morgan Edelman, Howard's Hilary Albrecht, Irene-Wakonda's Shanon Sokolowski and Viborg-Hurley's Tori Hansen.
Freeman was the conference team champion with a 6-1 record. Freeman's Josie Fuhrmann and Emily Miller were named to the second-team, while Hannah Eberts was a third-team selection.
Canistota's Jordan Engbrecht, Bridgewater-Emery's Julia Weber and Howard's Josie Erickson were second-team selections. Hanson's Morgan Huber and Megan Guericke were third-team honorees.
