McCook Central/Montrose (7-11): McCormick finished with eight points, while Koltan Lindstrom led the Fighting Cougars with 24. Collin Kolbeck finished with eight points and 12 rebounds in the win. Trey Anderson chipped in 14 points and six boards. The Fighting Cougars play Mount Vernon/Plankinton today in Salem.

Tri-Valley (7-11): Riley Haynes scored a team-high 24 points. Gabe Krump added 14 points and seven rebounds. The Mustangs travel to Baltic on Thursday.

STEPHAN-Tevin McBride buried a 3-pointer as time expired to propel Crow Creek to a double overtime boys basketball victory over Winner on Monday.

Crow Creek (5-13): McBride tossed in 19 points and also sent the game into double overtime with a contested layup. Jayden McBride added 18 points and seven rebounds. Taiten Medicine Crow finished with 14 points and Aden Rabbit scored 12 points. The Chieftains begin play in the Region 6A tournament on Feb. 26.

Winner (13-5): Brandon Volmer led Winner with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Brady Fritz recorded 13 points, while Phillip Jorgensen added 11 points and seven boards.
