The Class B girls basketball playoff pairings were released Sunday, with regional play set to begin Monday and the quarterfinals taking place on Tuesday.
For the first two rounds of the playoffs, the higher seed is designated to host the game and all tipoff times are 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
In Region 4B, No. 8 Mitchell Christian hosts No. 9 Elkton-Lake Benton on Monday, with the winner advancing to play at No. 1 Ethan on Tuesday. No. 5 Howard travels to No. 4 Chester Area on Tuesday.
No. 2 Hanson hosts the winner of Monday's game between No. 7 Dell Rapids St. Mary and No. 10 Oldham-Ramona/Rutland on Tuesday in Alexandria. No. 3 Sanborn Central/Woonsocket hosts No. 6 Colman-Egan on Tuesday in Forestburg.
The regional finals are slated to be held on Thursday in Huron.
Freeman earned the No. 1 seed in Region 5B and is scheduled to host the winner of Monday's No. 9 Freeman/Academy at No. 8 Gayville-Volin contest-played in Gayville-on Tuesday. No. 4 Menno also hosts No. 5 Viborg-Hurley on Tuesday.
No. 2 Bridgewater-Emery hosts Monday's No. 7 Alcester-Hudson/No. 10 Centerville game on Tuesday in Emery, while No. 6 Canistota faces No. 3 Irene-Wakonda on Tuesday in Irene.
The regional finals are scheduled to be hold on Thursday at the top remaining seed.
In Region 6B, No. 8 Gregory hosts No. 9 Colome on Monday for the right to face No. 1 Corsica-Stickney on Tuesday in Corsica. No. 4 Andes Central/Dakota Christian hosts No. 5 Kimball/White Lake on Tuesday in New Holland.
No. 7 Scotland hosts No. 10 Marty on Monday and the winner travels to No. 2 Avon Tuesday. No. 3 Tripp-Delmont/Armour faces No. 6 Burke on Tuesday in Armour.
The regional finals are scheduled to be held on Thursday in Wagner.
In Region 3B, No. 9 Wessington Springs plays at No. 8 Lake Preston, with the winner playing No. 1 De Smet on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Eighth-seeded Lyman hosts No. 9 Crazy Horse on Monday in the Region 7B first round and the winner advances to play at No. 1 New Underwood on Tuesday.
