The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team finds itself in the middle of the pack in the Great Plains Athletic Conference preseason poll. The Tigers, who went 23-23 overall and 16-12 in conference play last year, were picked seventh.

Concordia earned 10 of the 11 possible first-place votes to top the poll. Jamestown came in second, garnering the other first-place vote. Midland, Northwestern and Morningside round out the top-five, while Mount Marty was barely picked ahead of DWU.
