A four-run second inning helped Tabor Post 183 slip by Creighton (Neb.), 8-5, on Wednesday in Legion baseball action.

Christian Uecker and Beau Rothschadl both hit RBI singles in the second to plate three runs, while Uecker stole home for the fourth. Uecker went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Mace Merkwan also added two hits. Tabor had 10 hits as a team, including doubles from Josh Schmidt and Zach Cuka.

Uecker also earned the win, striking out eight and allowing two runs (one earned) in five innings of action. Tanner Van Driel struck out three in 1 1/3 innings to earn the save,

Tabor (4-1) plays Sioux Falls West and Concordia (Neb.) in Vermillion today.
