Strong pitching leads Ducks past Parkston/Ethan/Tripp

PARKSTON—After falling behind early, the Hanson/Bridgewater-Emery/Mount Vernon/Plankinton baseball team scored eight straight runs to take down Parkston/Ethan/Tripp, 8-2, on Wednesday.

Craig Lasley struck out six as he allowed an earned run on six hits in 5 2/3 innings for the Ducks. Hunter Pranger pitched the final 1 1/3 innings, giving up an earned run. At the plate, Jonah Hofer and Pranger both had two hits as the Ducks finished with five as a team. Pranger also drove in a pair of runs.

For PET, Landon Sudbeck went 2-for-2 with an RBI. He also started, suffering the loss as he allowed three earned runs and struck out six in four innings.
