TYNDALL-Bon Homme/Scotland swung a hot bat on Friday, sweeping a home baseball doubleheader against Hanson/Bridgewater-Emery/Mount Vernon/Plankinton. Bon Homme/Scotland earned a 12-2 win in six innings in Game 1, then defeated the Ducks 12-1 in the nightcap.

Joey Slama struck out three and allowed an earned run in a four-inning start to pick up the win for Bon Homme/Scotland. Beau Rothschadl went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, while Josh Schmidt drove in four runs on a pair of hits.

Jonah Hofer suffered the loss, allowing six runs (five earned) in a 2 2/3-inning start. Rylee Deinert recorded the only RBI as the Ducks finished with five hits.

Tyler Kopp picked up the win in the second game, striking out six in three shutout innings. Bon Homme/Scotland racked up 15 hits, including Rothschadl going 5-for-5 with five RBIs. Kaden Kozak also recorded three hits, while Slama and Trent Herrboldt both had two hits.

For the Ducks, Hunter Pranger suffered the loss, giving up 11 runs (six earned) in 6 2/3 innings.

Bon Homme/Scotland (4-0) plays at Elk Point-Jefferson at 1 p.m. today. H/B-E/MVP (0-5) plays Wagner at 6 p.m. Monday in Mount Vernon.
