HASTINGS, Neb.-Despite playing at Hastings, Dakota Wesleyan University baseball was the home team on Monday in a Great Plains Athletic Conference doubleheader. It earned a sweep, pushing its win streak to six games.

Jerrod Zens hit a walk-off single in the first game, giving the Tigers a 3-2 win. They completed the sweep with a 9-5 win in Game 2.

Wes Anderson went 3-for-3 with a walk and RBI in the first game, helping the Tigers rack up eight hits. Gunnar Johnson pitched a complete game, allowing a pair of unearned runs on three hits and two walks.

Despite not having an extra-base hit, DWU's offense plated four runs in the third and three in the sixth in the second game. Zens and Reed Harter both drove in three runs, while Drew DeMers went 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Ethan Davis allowed five earned runs and struck out four in his complete-game effort.

The Tigers (18-17, 12-8 GPAC) host Doane for a 5 p.m. doubleheader on Friday.
