PARKSTON -- Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes bolted through both of its opponents in the Parkston triangular on Thursday.
KWLPG took down Burke/Gregory, 46-30, and then cruised through Parkston, 52-15. Burke/Gregory also edged Parkston 46-30.
Spencer Hanson and Levi Nightingale were double winners for KWLPG, with Hanson earning an 8-5 decision over Burke/Gregory’s Finn Hanson at 170 pounds and then added a pin of Parkston’s Cael Ryther in 1 minute, 24 seconds. Meanwhile, Nightingale pinned Burke/Gregory’s Tucker Even in 5:54 at 182 pounds and Parkston’s Jeremiah Kohler in 2:37.
Frank Even (160) and Rhoss Oliver (285) had pins for the Storm against KWLPG, while Owen Hansen (120) and Finn Hanson (170) had pins against Parkston. Jackson Eklund also added an 11-1 major decision at 145.
Parkston’s Porter Neugebauer pinned Burke/Gregory’s Jackson Bauld at 113 and earned a 4-2 decision over KWLPG’s Kyler Konstanz. Landon Sudbeck pinned the Storm’s Kort Schonebaum in 29 seconds at 126 pounds and had a 3-1 decision over KWLPG’s Chase Varilek. Noah Mahoney pinned Burke/Gregory’s Rylan Peck in 1:09 at 152 pounds and had an 8-4 decision over KWLPG’s Holden Havlik.

MCM pins competition in Howard quad
HOWARD -- McCook Central/Montrose recorded 15 pins in three dual meets to sweep the Howard quadrangular on Thursday.
The Fighting Cougars had six pins in a 72-9 win over Garretson and five more in a 49-24 win over Howard. They also had four pins in a 37-31 win against Parker.
Jacobi Krouse had the fastest pin of the night, taking down Howard’s Bradyn Beck in eight seconds at 182 pounds in one of his three pins. Jackson Remmers won all three of his matches, with two pins. Weston Remmers also won all of his matches, with two pins and a major decision at 120. Jacob Cheeseman also had three wins at 160.
Howard beat Garretson 47-27 and dropped at 44-21 dual with Parker as Lane Miller and Kieffer Klinkhammer each earned three wins for the Tigers.
WSWWW scores to wins in Miller/Highmore-Harrold triangular
MILLER -- Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington swept both of its matches in the Miller/Highmore-Harrold triangular on Thursday.
WSWWW cruised past Sunshine Bible Academy, 51-15, while also taking down MHH, 36-19.
Keegan Haider pinned SBA’s Josh VanHeuvelen at the 3-minute mark at 138 pounds and then pinned MHH’s Hunter Brueggeman in 3:01.
Kaydin Carter (113) and Joey Hoverson (120) both earned pins against MHH, while Troy Fastnacht won a 7-4 decision at 126 against SBA.

Lyman rattles off eight straight wins to beat Hill City
PRESHO -- Lyman recorded eight consecutive wins to earn a 45-33 win over Hill City in dual meet action on Thursday.
Kellen Griffith (126 pounds) pinn Silas Florence in 1 minute, 49 seconds, followed a 57-second pin by Shilo Mowry at 132, while Tance Wagner outlasted Jaxon Johnson for a 1-0 decision at 138. Tyron Oldenkamp added a 39-second pin of Eli Isakson at 145 and Blake Brodrecht pinned Benjamin Mireles in 3:19 at 152. At 160, Teagan Gourneau pinned Alan Salinas in 1:39, which set up back-to-back Hill City forfeits.
Hunter Collins also added a pin at 106 pounds for the Raiders.
