MADISON -- Chamberlain’s Nash Hutmacher recorded his 46th straight pin and claimed the Madison Invitational title on Saturday.
The heavyweight recorded three pins, including one over Omaha Central’s Jacob Frezell-McClinton in the title match. Hutmacher and Canton wrestler Kellyn March both surpassed Rapid City’s Randy Lewis’ state record most consecutive pins (45) on the same day. An 138-pounder, March was competing at the Elk Point-Jefferson Invitational and now has the state record with 48 consecutive pins.
Chamberlain finished fourth in the team standings with 145 points. Rapid City Stevens (201.5) won the team title.
Chamberlain’s Jasiah Thompson took second in the 182-pound division and fell to Brookings’ Luke Rasmussen by pin in the title match.
Chamberlain’s Gabe Skustad (132 pounds) and Coby Skustad (145) both finished third. Remington Rossow (160) and Noah Hutmacher (170) both finished fourth.

Also for Chamberlain, Ruger Forester took fifth in the 220-pound class.
Howard’s Riley Genzlinger (126), Lane Miller (138) and Isaac Feldhaus (195) each finished second in their weight classes.
MCM claims Titan Invite
PLANKINTON -- Behind three individual winners, McCook Central/Montrose won the Titan Invite on Saturday.
Colin Reif (285), Cade Entwisle (195) and Jackson Remmers (126) each claimed titles to spark the team victory.
Mount Vernon/Plankinton/Corsica-Stickney’s Hadley Tobin (106), Hunter Pranger (170) and Thomas Baker (182) all captured titles.
Burke/Gregory’s Owen Hansen was the 120-pound champ. Burke/Gregory’s Jackson Eklund won the 145-pound title. Freeman’s Daniel Cremer captured the 152-pound title.
St. Pierre, Soukup win titles at EPJ Invite
ELK POINT -- Wagner’s K.J. St. Pierre and Lance Soukup both won individual titles at the Elk Point-Jefferson Invitational on Saturday.
St. Pierre won the 220-pound weight class, while Soukup was the 120-pound winner. Preston Nedved (160) and Jhett Breen (106) both earned third-place finishes for Wagner.

For Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon, Jordan Rueb (132), Jordan Gall (182) and Josh Crownover (195) both placed second in their weight classes.
Parkston’s Riley Weber (120) placed second in his weight class.
Canton won the team title with 233 points. Wagner placed sixth with 113 and BHSA took seventh with 109.5. Parkston came in ninth place with 79 points.
