Area wrestling roundup: Howard picks up three wins at MCM Quad

SALEM--The Howard High School wrestling team went undefeated at the McCook Central/Montrose Quadrangular on Thursday. The Tigers defeated Garretson (42-39), Howard (40-39) and MCM (41-34). MCM edged Parker (38-36).

Howard's Lane Miller (120 pounds), Riley Genzlinger (132), Ty Beyer (145), Isaac Feldhaus (182) and EJ Leetch (195) each recorded three wins.

Kieffer Klinkhammer (126) notched two wins for the Tigers.

For MCM, Jackson Remmers (106/113) and Jacobi Krouse (152) each picked up three wins apiece. Carter Randall (120), Jacob Gessner (160) and Cade Entwisle (182/195) all earned two wins.

Winner Area rolls at Stanley County Triangular

FORT PIERRE-The Winner wrestling team dominated on Thursday en route to a pair of wins at the Stanley County triangular. Winner topped Faulkton Area (72-6) and Stanley County (75-6).

Kaleb Osborn (106 pounds), Kaden Keiser (120) and Elijah Blare (220) all had two pins.

Jack Kruger (126) also had a pin against Faulkton Area, while Riley Shippy, Trevor Peters, Charley Pravecek and Achilles Willuweit all pinned their Stanley County opponent.

Aaron Gilchrist (17-12) and Sam Kruger (8-3) won via decision against Faulkton and Riggin Shippy won an 8-4 decision over Stanley County's Reid Wieczorek.
