GREGORY-The Burke/Gregory wrestling team squeaked out a win over Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon, 42-38, in dual meet action on Thursday.

Jordan Vosika (138 pounds), Caleb Stukel (145), Frank Even (152), Taron Serr (182) and J.J. Beck (195) earned first-round pins for Burke/Gregory, while Owen Hansen (106) and Finn Hanson (160) scored a pins in 3:52 and 3:43, respectively.

BHSA received pins from Josh Crownover (170), Jordan Rueb (126) and Jordan Gall (182). Isaac Crownover (120) and Micah Deboer (285) also had wins via technical fall.

Wagner falls to Vermillion

WAGNER-The Wagner wrestling team narrowly fell to Vermillion in a dual on Thursday, 42-35.

Bradyn Lhotak (132 pounds) picked up a 20-1 technical fall win, while Dawson Lensing pinned Vermillion's Zach Brady at 285 pounds.

Howard sweeps quad

HOWARD-Howard swept all three dual meets in its quadrangular against Flandreau, Hamlin/Castlewood and Deuel on Thursday.

The Tigers took down Flandreau, 78-6, followed by a 78-6 win over Hamlin/Castlewood and then blanked Deuel, 82-0.

Riley Genzlinger won all three of his matches at 132 pounds by pin, with two coming in the first round. Karsyn Feldhaus (106) and John Callies (138) also added two pins a piece, while Karsten Hamilton had pins at 113 and 106. E.J. Leetch (220), Kieffer Klinkhammer (126) and Trevor Petrik (285) each added a win.
