BHSA receives four pins in dual victory

SCOTLAND -- Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon edged Wagner, 39-33, in dual wrestling action on Tuesday.

BHSA received pins from Brock Kotalik (113 pounds), Brady Bierema (132), Landon Smith (152) and Jordan Gall (285). BHSA’s Tyrus Bietz (170) added a 7-5 decision win.

Wagner received pins from Karstyn Lhotak (106), Jhett Breen (120), Bradyn Lhotak (138), Riley Roberts (145) and Kahle Hill (160). Wagner’s Nolan Dvorak (182) added an 8-1 decision victory.

Chamberlain tops Burke/Gregory in dual action

CHAMBERLAIN -- Chamberlain earned five straight wins in the middleweights to secure a 51-15 dual wrestling win over Burke/Gregory on Tuesday.

After a 12-6 lead through four matches, the Cubs rattled off five straight wins go ahead 33-6 in the dual. Chamberlain’s Bryce Reuer (132 pounds), Thomas Powell (138), Gabe Skustad (145), Trey Neilan (152) and Garret Ristau (160) each picked up victories during the stretch.


Chamberlain’s Wiley Elwood (106), Chase Hopkins (120) and Noah Hutmacher (195) also added contested wins.

Burke/Gregory’s Jackson Bauld (113), Owen Hansen (126), Tucker Even (170) and Rhoss Oliver (220) earned victories.

Parkston drops two at home duals

Flandreau, Parker, West Lyon (Iowa) at Parkston Duals

PARKSTON -- Parkston dropped a pair of dual matches against Parker and West Lyon (Iowa) by identical 39-36 scores on Tuesday.

Against Parker, the Trojans lost four straight matches to fall behind 39-18. Parkston’s Gavin Braun (106 pounds), Wyatt Anderson (113) and Carter Sommer (120) won three straight matches to reach the final margin.

Porter Neugebauer (126), Landon Sudbeck (132), Noah Mahoney (160) and Logan Heidinger (170) earned victories for the Trojans.

Against West Lyon, Zac Severson won an 8-7 decision over Wyatt Anderson in the final match to secure the three-point victory for his team. Sommer (120), Neugebauer (126), Sudbeck (132) and Mahoney (170) also won contested matches.
