FORESTBURG -- Sanborn Central/Woonsocket eliminated Mitchell Christian from the Region 4B tournament on Monday. Set scores were 25-22, 25-14 and 25-15.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (9-12): Brooke Doering led the way with 10 kills, 12 digs and three blocks. Kaitlin Brueske added seven kills and three aces, while Trista White logged five kills and three aces. Morgan Schmiedt notched 21digs, 18 assists and three aces. Ellie VonEye posted nine assists. SCW plays Colman-Egan on Tuesday in Colman.

Mitchell Christian: Kaitlyn Tegethoff finished with five kills and two aces. Maggie Reynen and Whisper Eben both had three kills. Reynen logged two blocks. Erica Thompson dished out nine assists and had 22 digs. Keely O’Neill logged 19 digs. Mitchell Christian finishes the season 5-12.

Wessington Springs 3, Iroquois/Doland 0

WESSINGTON SPRINGS -- Wessington Springs opened Region 3B action with a straight set win over Iroquois/Doland. Set scores were 25-19, 25-22 and 25-11.

Wessington Springs (6-13): Avery Orth and Cheyenne Burg both served four aces for the Spartans, while Orth put down five kills. Sarah Poncelow added six kills. Alyssa Grohs dished out 18 assists and Maddie Privett recorded 25 digs. The Spartans travel to Castlewood on Tuesday.

Iroquois/Doland: Becca Bich recorded 31 assists. Kaitlyn Maas added six kills and two blocks. Harley Nelson added 12 digs. Iroquois/Doland finished the season 2-19.

ORR 3, Hanson 0

RAMONA -- Oldham-Ramona/Rutland cruised past Hanson for a Region 4B win on Monday. Set scores were 25-12, 25-22 and 25-21.

Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (10-14): Julia Trygstad put down a team-high 12 kills to go with seven digs, three aces and two blocks. Paige Hanson chipped in 15 assists, four kills, four digs and two aces. Alivia Spilde recorded seven kills and six digs. Sine Matson added a team-high 15 digs. ORR travels to Chester Area on Tuesday.

Hanson: Abby Kortan recorded 13 digs, nine assists and five kills. Andrea Thelen added six digs, six assists and five kills. Skylar Holm recorded eight digs. Taylor Schroeder and Kate Haiar both added six digs. The Beavers finish the season 6-16.

Canistota 3, Centerville 0

EMERY -- Canistota swept Centerville in straight sets in prep volleyball action on Monday. Set scores were 25-20, 25-22 and 25-14.

Canistota (5-13): Kenzy Krinke finished with 10 kills and 15 digs. Mykkah Krinke added eight digs, six kills and 17 assists. Lexi Tieszen posted 23 digs. Kayla Papendick recorded 20 digs and six kills. The Hawks will play Bridgewater-Emery on Tuesday in Emery.

Centerville: Sophie Eide finished 19 digs and four kills. Mya Bendt posted 13 digs and seven kills. Ellie Hunter logged 10 digs, six kills and three blocks. Bailey Hansen added nine assists and four blocks. Centerville finishes the season 3-17.

Menno 3, Viborg-Hurley 0

MENNO -- Menno kept its season alive with a straight set win over Viborg-Hurley in the Region 5B tournament. Set scores were 25-13, 25-21 and 25-11.

Menno (10-12): Jesse Munkvold had team highs of 12 digs and seven kills to go with three aces. Adrian Nusz recorded six digs, five aces and three kills. Kylie Harriman chipped in nine assists and seven digs. Grace Nusz finished with eight assists and four digs. The Wolves play Gayville-Volin on Tuesday in Gayville

Viborg-Hurley: Rachel Christensen recorded 15 digs and Mataya Vannorsdel dished out eight assists. Denae Mach finished with five digs and three kills. Brooklyn Andersen added four digs and four kills. Viborg-Hurley finishes the season 2-18.

Irene-Wakonda 3, FAM 0

WAKONDA -- Irene-Wakonda cruised past Freeman Academy/Marion for a Region 5B victory on Monday. Set scores were 25-18, 25-7 and 25-13.

Irene-Wakonda (9-15): Emma Orr recorded 11 assists, five digs and four kills in the win. Emma McDonald added seven kills, seven aces and four digs, while Nora O’Malley chipped in six aces and three kills. McKenna Mork recorded six assists and four serves. The Eagles travel to Freeman on Tuesday.

Freeman Academy/Marion: Leah Goodwin recorded five blocks, four digs and two kills. Alexa Gortmaker added three digs in the loss. The Bearcats finish the season 0-14.

Gregory 3, ACDC 1

GREGORY -- Gregory picked up a four-set win over Andes Central/Dakota Christian on Monday in Region 6B action. Set scores were 25-13, 25-19, 24-26 and 25-18.

Gregory (7-15): Dakota Timanus served four aces and Gracie Kenzy added three serves. Jessy Jo Vanderwerff recorded a team-high 19 kills. Brooklynn Kenzy added 16 kills and Brynn Hylla chipped in 25 assists. The Gorillas play Corsica-Stickney on Tuesday in Corsica.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian: Allison Muckey recorded four aces and Claire Johnson added three aces. Mackenzie Muckey chipped in 15 kills, 14 digs and four blocks, while Lexie Vanderpol put down 11 kills and four blocks. Allison Muckey dished out 13 assists. Johnson added 18 digs. ACDC finishes the season 1-14.
