FORESTBURG — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket took a straight-set win over Howard for its 18th win of the season on Monday night. Set scores were 25-12, 25-18 and 25-18.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (18-4): Brooke Doering powered her way to 13 kills and four blocks, while Trista White added 12 kills, 16 digs and two aces. Teya Moody put up 29 assists for the Blackhawks, who are at James Valley Christian on Oct. 12.
Howard (11-11): Emma Rudebusch had 12 digs, 10 assists and one ace, as Katlin Schlim chipped in 13 digs and two aces. Piper Thompson had a team-high eight kills for the Tigers, who host Ethan on Oct. 12.
Miller 3, Kimball/White Lake 1
MILLER — Miller dropped the first set, but came back to earn a four-set win over Kimball/White Lake at home on Monday night. Set scores were 20-25, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-15.
Miller (14-9): Jaden Werdel posted 11 kills, 29 digs and seven ace serves. Tyra Gates had 31 assists and 11 digs for the Rustlers, who are at Platte-Geddes on Oct. 12.

Kimball/White Lake (13-8): Ryann Nielsen led the team with 15 kills and Dani Deffenbaugh added eight kills and a team-high 12 digs. Lindy Kiehn recorded three blocks and Madison Meier put up 10 assists and 10 digs. KWL is at Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Oct. 14.
Scotland 3, Viborg-Hurley 2
VIBORG — Scotland watched Viborg-Hurley erase a two-set deficit but bounced back to take the deciding fifth set on the road Monday night. Set scores were 25-12, 27-25, 23-25, 19-25 and 15-8.
Scotland (9-10): Martina DeBoer recorded a team-best 12 kills, as Delanie VanDriel powered her way to six kills, five blocks and two aces. Rylee Conrad put up 36 assists and an ace, with Bailey Vitek chipping in for a team-high 17 digs. Scotland hosts Bon Homme on Oct. 12.
Viborg-Hurley (5-14): Delana Mach had 11 kills, nine digs and one ace. Coral Mason added nine kills, 13 digs, two blocks and two aces, with Estelle Lee and Charley Nelson contributing 26 and 30 digs, respectively. V-H is at Freeman Academy/Marion on Oct. 12.
