CORSICA-Corsica-Stickney won the first two sets of a match against Andes Central/Dakota Christian on Monday, but the Thunder battled back to force a fifth set. The Jaguars were able to hold on, however, to come away with a win, 25-18, 28-26, 21-25, 17-25 and 15-10.

Corsica-Stickney (7-9): Courtney Menning led the way with 14 digs, eight kills and two blocks, while Raven Barse added 10 digs, eight kills and two blocks. Kassidy Clark doled out 15 assists and came up with five digs, and Bridget Burke chipped in with 15 digs and four kills.The Jaguars travel to Burke on Thursday.

Andes Central/Dakota Christian (12-6): Brianna Deurmier dished out 48 assists and 23 digs, while Tyra Medicine Horn added 42 digs and and 19 kills. Isabel Pfeiffer chipped in 14 kills and 17 digs. The Thunder host Platte-Geddes on Saturday in Corsica.

Wagner 3, TDA 0

WAGNER-Coach Amy Tyler recorded her 400th career victory in Wagner's a three-set victory against Tripp-Delmont/Armour in prep volleyball action on Monday. Set scores were 25-16, 25-9 and 25-13.

Wagner (16-3): Faith Tyler led Wagner with 14 kills, nine digs and four aces. Abby Brunsing had a double-double with 13 kills and 10 digs. Lizzie Tyler had 18 assists, while Emilea Cimpl finished with 17 assists. The Red Raiders travel to Scotland tonight.

Tripp-Delmont/Armour (3-12): Mattilynn Reiner had four kills and two blocks for the Nighthawks. Kianna Payer, Ashlee Gerber and Hannah Whitney all finished with seven digs apiece. The Nighthawks host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Thursday in Tripp.

Freeman 3, Mitchell Christian 0

FREEMAN-Freeman took down Mitchell Christian in straight sets to claim a prep volleyball match on Monday. Set scores were 25-11, 25-16 and 25-7.

Freeman (16-6): Emily Miller had 10 kills, five digs and three blocks. Dayna Roth finished with five kills and three digs, while Journey Mehlhaff had five kills and four blocks. Josie Fuhrmann recorded 13 digs and three digs. Jaimie Glanzer finished with 37 assists. Emmarie Edwards finished with eight digs and two ace, while Caitlyn Gronewold had six digs and two aces. Freeman hosts Bon Homme tonight.

Mitchell Christian (3-13): Anna Cooper registered three kills, two blocks and one ace. Maggie Reynen finished with two kills, while Erica Thompson had five assists and six digs. Claire Lepke added nine digs. Mitchell Christian plays at Hanson on Thursday in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA-Bon Homme downed Hanson in a prep volleyball match on Monday. Set scores were 25-18, 25-17, 25-12 and 25-21.

Bon Homme (3-16): Johanna Jelsma dished out 30 assists in the win. McKenzie Carson and Ciera Himes each put down nine kills. Himes added 20 digs. Lauren Bastemeyer and Jenae Alberts each had seven kills. Alberts also recorded 16 digs and three aces. Emily Cap had a match-high 32 digs. Abby Crites finished with 18 digs and three kills. The Cavaliers play at Freeman tonight.

Hanson (7-12): Jacy Waldera had 24 assists and four digs. Morgan Huber had seven kills, two blocks and two aces. Josie Bartscher finished with six kills and two blocks. Ellie Tuschen registered 10 digs and three kills, while Brianna Weber had four kills, four digs and two aces. Abby Kortan added seven digs and four aces. Morgan Huber added seven kills, two blocks and two aces. Megan Guericke finished with 13 digs and two aces. The Beavers travel to Centerville tonight.
