CANISTOTA -- Canistota picked up a four-set volleyball match victory over Hanson on Friday. Set scores were 25-27, 25-12, 26-24 and 25-7.

Canistota (4-13): Kenzy Krinke finished with 12 kills, 12 digs and two aces. Kayla Papendick added seven kills, 22 digs and two aces. Taylor McGregor posted six kills, while Mykkah Krinke logged 30 assists and eight digs. Desiree Pierce posted 25 digs and four kills. Lexi Tieszen tallied 19 digs. The Hawks play in the Region 5B tournament, starting on Monday.

Hanson (6-15): Annalyse Weber, Andrea Thelen and Shelby Hernandez each put down five kills. Weber added 12 digs and Hernandez posted seven digs. Skylar Holm, Jalyn Kampshoff and Abby Kortan each had 11 digs. Kampshoff added 16 assists. The Beavers play in the Region 4B tournament, which starts on Monday.

Miller 3, MVP 1

PLANKINTON -- Miller picked up a four-set victory over Mount Vernon/Plankinton on Friday. Set scores were 15-25, 25-18, 25-22 and 25-17.

Miller (7-13): Storm Johnsen finished with 19 kills and 21 digs. Ally Mullaney posted 10 kills and nine assists. Macie Werdel added 17 digs and Tyra Gates finished with 40 assists. The Rustlers play in the Region 6A tournament, which starts on Tuesday.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton (12-11): Haley Pickart finished with nine kills, while Reagan Rus and Maria Baker both had seven kills apiece. Rus added three blocks. Shyla Tobin logged 21 assists, 17 digs and three aces. The Titans play in the Region 5A tournament, which begins on Tuesday.

Parker 3, Parkston 0

PARKSTON -- Parker swept Parkston in straight sets in high school volleyball action on Friday. Set scores were 25-18, 25-16 and 25-21.

Parker (16-7): Shelby Lang finished with 14 kills and 13 digs. Ryleigh Anderson posted 10 kills and nine digs. Breana Jensen logged 33 digs, while Cierra Mohr added 15 digs and 40 assists. The Pheasants play in the Region 5A tournament, which begins on Tuesday.

Parkston (16-7): Maggie Baumgart led the way with 11 kills and two blocks. C.C. Neugebauer added 23 kills and 12 digs. Allison Ziebart finished with five kills and 19 digs. Tiah Holzbauer had 15 digs and Mya Nuebel logged 10 digs. The Trojans play in the Region 5A tournament, which begins on Tuesday.

Wagner 3, Scotland 0

SCOTLAND -- Wagner swept Scotland in straight sets in prep volleyball action on Friday. Set scores were 25-23, 25-22 and 25-15.

Wagner (10-5): Abby Brunsing led the way with 22 kills, 18 digs and two blocks. Avari Bruguier added 10 kills and 10 digs. Kya Kjeldgaard added eight kills and five blocks. Macy Koupal finished with 24 kills, nine digs, six kills and three aces. Paige Petry added 19 assists and 18 digs. Madi Knebel added 11 digs and five aces. The Red Raiders play in the Region 5A tournament, which begins on Tuesday.

Scotland (8-7): Grace Fryda recorded 12 digs and eight kills. Rylee Conrad added 32 assists, six digs and three kills. Kennedy Bietz posted 10 kills and six digs. Makayla Friederich and Delanie VanDriel logged eight kills apiece. Friederich added seven digs. The Highlanders play in the Region 5B tournament, which begins on Monday.
