FREEMAN -- Canistota picked up its second win of the season Thursday night, defeating Freeman 65-38 thanks to Mason Decker and Shay Jolley, who had 18 points apiece. Canistota shot 27-of-52 from the floor, 6-of-12 from free throw line and recorded 17 assists and 37 rebounds.
Freeman was led offensively by Brennan Schmidt, who had 19 points and six rebounds. The Flyers were 14-of-49 from the field, 10-of-16 from the free throw line and pulled in 30 rebounds and dished out four assists.
Canistota (2-0) takes on Hitchcock-Tulare on Dec. 29 in Parkston, while Freeman (1-1) hosts Bon Homme on Jan. 3.

GREGORY -- Gregory had five players score in double figures in an 81-50 win over Colome on Thursday.

Jayd VanDerWerff had 14 points, Gavin Thomas added 13 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double and Damon Eagle Star had 12 points in the win. Cody Kafka tallied 11 points and Sean Kafka had 11 points. The Gorillas were 34-of-62 from the floor and 6-of-10 from the free throw line. Gregory outrebounded Colome 35-20.
Colome's Reed Harter had a game-high 25 points and Holden Thieman added 17 points and nine rebounds. The Cowboys were 20-of-41 from the field and 4-of-10 from the line.

Cody Renken scored 22 points for the Titans, while Hayden Schmidt and Tate Deinert each chipped in with 12 points. Deinert dished out five assists in the win.
Corsica/Stickney was led by Austin Tilton and Clayton Menning with each scoring seven points.

Dillon Moore recorded 21 points, six rebounds and seven steals for the Blackhawks. Josh Feiner recorded 13 points and one rebound. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket made 30-of-63 field goals, 11-of-14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds and committed 13 turnovers.

She added six steals, while Shyanne Kopfmann grabbed 15 rebounds for the Spartans, who were 19-of-43 from the floor, 11-of-22 from the line and had 31 rebounds and 12 turnovers.
Shaylyn Steinheuser had 14 points for the Patriots, who were 17-of-49 from the field, 4-of-10 from the line and had 25 rebounds and 22 turnovers.

Makaela Karst led the Titans with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Megan Bultsma recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Payleen O'Day had 13 points and Ivy Haines added nine rebounds for the Titans, who were 20-of-47 from the floor and 14-of-21 from the line.
Hope Menning tallied a team-high 15 points and four rebounds for the Jaguars, who were 8-of-30 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the line.
