PLATTE -- Class 9AA No. 4 Platte-Geddes rushed for 301 yards on 41 attempts to take down Parkston, 41-2, on Friday.

Jackson Neuman paced the Platte-Geddes rushing attack with 139 yards on 17 carries. Grayson Hanson scored three times on the ground, along with racking up 95 rushing yards and throwing for 47 yards and a score. Kelby VanDerWerff threw and caught a touchdown in the win. Caden Foxley had a team-high nine tackles, while Neuman intercepted a pass.

For Parkston, Braden Jervik rushed for a team-best 57 yards and Cole Prunty gained 47 yards on the ground. Landon Sudbeck recorded 12 tackles and Sam Benson chipped in nine tackles.

Platte-Geddes finishes the regular season 8-0, while Parkston ends 4-2.

BEE 51, Beresford 0

BRIDGEWATER -- Class 11B No. 2 Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan earned its 20th consecutive win on Friday night and closed out the regular season undefeated with a shutout victory at home.

The Seahawks ran for 261 yards on 27 carries and had 321 total yards, paced by Koby Kayser’s 122 rushing yards on seven carries and Bodie Burnham had 95 yards on eight carries. Kayser scored on a 54-yard touchdown run and an 80-yard kickoff return. Burnham scored on a 59-yard run and had a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown. Kaden Klumb had 60 yards passing and three touchdowns, including one each to Rylee Schultz and Eric Gustafson and a 13-yard scoring scamper. Gustafson paced the defense with eight tackles, and Schultz had a 32-yard field goal.

Beresford was held to 69 total yards in the loss, including 33 on the ground. Landon Schurch had nine tackles for the Watchdogs. BEE intercepted five Beresford passes in the victory.

Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan will host a first-round playoff game after an 8-0 regular season. Beresford wraps the regular season at 2-6.

Gregory 36, KWL 29

GREGORY -- Coy Determan threw a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns as Gregory rallied past Kimball/White Lake on Friday.

Facing a 29-21 deficit, Determan threw touchdowns to Owen Hansen and Eli Fogel as Gregory picked up the victory. Nolan Kirsch rushed for a 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to put Kimball/White Lake in front, 29-21.

Determan threw for 300 yards and five touchdown passes. Kade Stukel caught five catches for 119 yards and three touchdowns. Trey Murray had 14 tackles and Jace Robertson picked up 10 tackles. Determan intercepted a pass on defense, as well.

Kirsch racked up 165 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, while completing 9 of 20 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Kaden Tyrrell added 60 rushing yards, while Jacob Novak had 51 receiving yards and a touchdown reception. Levi Nightingale had a team-high nine tackles for the WiLdKats.

Gregory ends the regular season 5-3. Kimball/White Lake finishes the regular season 1-7.

TDAACDC 49, Avon 22

LAKE ANDES -- Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian scored 19 points in the first quarter and didn’t relinquish the lead in a win over Avon on Friday.

Cade Faulkner completed 9 of 15 passes for 201 yards and four touchdowns for the Thunderhawks. Rizon Clark and Nolan Blackcloud both recorded 75 receiving yards and a touchdown apiece. Blackcloud also rushed for 106 yards, while Trey Sparks gained 98 rushing yards and a touchdown. Gavin Westendorf and Faulkner gained 65 and 61 rushing yards, respectively, as both also scored. Dylan Van Der Werff racked up 10 tackles. Sparks and Clark each intercepted a pass.

Brady Beierema paced the Avon offense with 134 yards on the ground and a touchdown. He also caught four passes for 51 yards. Lincoln Thury rushed 13 times for 96 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Thury finished with 15 tackles. Hunter Rucktaeschel had an interception.

TDAACDC finishes the regular season 3-5, while Avon is 2-7.

Corsica-Stickney 50, Gayville-Volin 14

CORSICA -- Corsica-Stickney took down Gayville-Volin on Friday to finish the regular season with a victory and an even 4-4 record.

Brendan Wentland completed 9 of 14 passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns for the Jaguars, while Trever Burke also tossed two touchdown passes. Cole Feenstra caught two touchdowns during an 88-yard performance. Wentland also rushed for 159 yards and a touchdown. Adam Joachim gained 71 rushing yards, while Caden VanDrongelen rushed six times for 63 yards and a score. On defense, VanDrongelen racked up 12 tackles and Carter Wright picked off a pass in the win.

Kyle Hirsch gained 94 yards and a touchdown on the ground in the loss. Andrew Gustad also rushed for a touchdown, while rushing for 59 yards. Nate Quatier rushed for 52 yards and threw for 96 yards. Gustad racked up 20 tackles.

Gayville-Volin ends its regular season campaign at 2-4.

WWSSC 55, Aberdeen Roncalli 6

WESSINGTON SPRINGS -- Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central totaled 528 yards of offense in a Friday night win over Aberdeen Roncalli.

Clay Olinger had 172 yards and three touchdowns on seven attempts for WWSSC. Carter Grohns rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown, while Camden Jost added 66 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Cade Mohling caught a 58-yard pass. Blake Larson intercepted a pass in the win.

Abe Kretchman carried the ball 16 times for 97 yards for Aberdeen. He also had six tackles on defense, while Brent Ekanger added six tackles.

WWSSC finishes the regular season 6-2. Aberdeen Roncalli is now 3-4 this year.

MVP 46, MHH 0

MILLER -- Mount Vernon/Plankinton held Miller/Highmore-Harrold to 184 yards in a shutout win on Friday.

Lincoln Klooz exploded for 200 rushing yards and a trio of touchdowns for the Titans. Rylee Deinert rushed 11 times for 91 yards and two scores. Tre Jones added a rushing touchdown to go with 74 yards in the win.Drew Gerlach and Daniel Laufman both intercepted a pass, while Thomas Stange recorded seven tackles.

Tate Hoffman gained 58 rushing yards on 12 carries for MHH. Colby Werdel added 12 tackles and Hoffman recorded seven tackles.

Mount Vernon/Plankinton improves to 3-3 to finish the regular season. Miller/Highmore-Harrold ends 0-7.

Burke 14, Alcester-Hudson 6

BURKE -- Taron Serr rushed for a 5-yard touchdown to cap Burke’s upset of Class 9B No. 5 Alcester-Hudson on Friday.

Serr carried the ball 20 times for Burke, gaining 140 yards and a touchdown. He also had 11 tackles and a sack on defense. Tucker Even finished with 62 rushing yards and eight tackles in the win. Ben Witt completed all five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown to Bryce Frank.

Logan Serck recorded 13 tackles to go with 97 rushing yards, 113 passing yards and a touchdown toss for the Cubs. Kaden Kleinhans had eight tackles, a sack and caught a touchdown on offense.

Burke ended the regular season 5-3 and Alcester-Hudson ends 5-3.

Scotland 12, Colome 0

COLOME -- Scotland ended the regular season with a shutout road win at Colome on Friday.

Lucas Dennis completed 3 of 12 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown to Keenan Souhrada.

Michael Supik threw for 82 yards and two interceptions for the Cowboys. Riley Shippy rushed 20 times for 59 yards and Gavin Tucker finished with a team-high 43 receiving yards. Billy Looking Cloud finished with 10 tackles.

Scotland ended the regular season 4-3. Colome finishes 1-7.

Philip 38, Lyman 28

PRESHO -- Philip scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to hold off Lyman on Friday.

Reece Heltzel gained 220 yards and two touchdowns on 31 rushing attempts for Philip. Hudson Johnson added a touchdown and rushed for 55 yards. Chayson Schofield connected with Sam Hand for a passing touchdown. Schofield also intercepted a pass.

For Lyman, Teagan Gourneau completed 10 of 17 passes for 92 yards, a touchdown and interception. Colton Collins gained 62 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Declan Cleveland hauled in five receptions for 72 yards and a score.

Philip ends the regular season 6-2, while Lyman drops to 5-2.

• Irene-Wakonda 30, Menno/Marion 26 in Menno: Irene-Wakonda closed the regular season on a high note, topping Menno/Marion. The Eagles led 14-12 at halftime. Irene-Wakonda wraps the regular season at 2-6, while Menno/Marion finishes the season at 1-7.

• McCook Central/Montrose’s game against Redfield was canceled on Friday afternoon due COVID-19 concerns related to the Pheasants.

• According to the SDHSAA website, Wagner opted out of potential competition in the Class 11B postseason. The Red Raiders canceled their final game of the regular season this week against Chamberlain.
