SALEM -- Jacobi Krouse ran wild to guide Class 11B No. 3 McCook Central/Montrose to a 50-30 win over Mount Vernon/Plankinton on Friday.
Krouse carried the ball 44 times for 412 yards and six touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 26 yards. Gavin Gordon was intercepted three times, but still threw for 139 yards and a touchdown to Cody Miles. Defensively, Trey Claussen and Carter Jandl both intercepted a pass. Braedon Kerkhove recorded 12 tackles, including three for a loss. Carter Randall had six tackles and a sack for the Fighting Cougars.
Rylee Deinert rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, while chipping in 13 tackles for the Titans. Lincoln Klooz added 96 rushing yards and a touchdown to go with 10 tackles and an interception. Cole Pranger finished with 12 tackles. Reed Rus and Tre Jones both intercepted a pass.
The Fighting Cougars (3-0) play Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan on Sept. 18 in Bridgewater. The Titans (1-2) travel to Chamberlain on Sept. 18.
Hanson 44, Corsica-Stickney 12
CORSICA -- Hanson racked up 447 yards of total offense and 25 first downs to roll past Corsica-Stickney on Friday.

Hadley Wallace ran for 136 yards and a touchdown, while Gavin Doyle had 89 yards and two touchdowns and Jackson Jarding ran for 66 yards and a touchdown. Kade Waldera went 6 of 11 passing for 59 yards and ran for a touchdown for Hanson.
Brendan Wentland was 8 of 21 passing for 107 yards and a touchdown to Cole Feenstra. Cole VanDrongelen also returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a score.
The Beavers (3-0) play Bon Homme on Sept. 18 in Tyndall. The Jaguars (1-2) play Wolsey-Wessington on Sept. 18 in Corsica.

WINNER -- Class 11B No. 1 Winner gained 399 yards on the ground in a win over Wagner on Friday.
Sam Kruger paced the rushing attack with 106 yards and a touchdown on eight carries, as he also caught a 16-yard touchdown. Brady Fritz finished with 65 rushing yards and two total touchdowns, while Aiden Barfuss scored twice to go with 50 yards. Kaden Keiser rushed for 50 yards. Defensively, Achilles Willuweit had two of Winner’s six sacks.
Jaden Peters completed 6 of 9 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown toss to Dustin Honomichl, who caught three passes for 87 yards. Malcolm Janis recorded 11 tackles.
The Warriors (4-0) travel to Valentine, Neb., on Sept. 18. The Red Raiders (1-3) host Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central on Sept. 18.
Colome 30, Irene-Wakonda 0
COLOME -- Colome earned its first win of the season on Friday with a shutout of Irene-Wakonda.

Brayden Seegers threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns, including an 80-yard score to Riley Shippy and a 55-yard touchdown to Kash Heath. Shippy led the Cowboys with 72 rushing yards and 11 tackles. Seegers added 67 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while Rhet Bertram rushed for a touchdown and added 11 tackles. Michael Supik intercepted Chase Dahlerup.
Dahlerup rushed for 62 yards and recorded a team-high 14 tackles. Dashel Spurrell added six tackles.
The Cowboys (1-2) host Burke on Sept. 18. The Eagles (0-4) play Canistota/Freeman on Sept. 18 in Irene.
Platte-Geddes 51, Gayville-Volin 6
GAYVILLE -- Class 9AA No. 4 Platte-Geddes rode a 45-point halftime lead to a win over Gayville-Volin on Friday.
Kelby Vanderweff completed 8 of 11 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for a third score. Myles Kott gained 114 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Jackson Neuman (92 yards) and Grayson Hanson (46) both rushed for touchdowns, too. Hanson led the team with 76 receiving yards and a score, and defensively finished with seven tackles and an interception. Nate Whalen caught a touchdown from Vanderwerff, too.
Nate Quatier threw a 16-yard touchdown to Darien Rabe. Kyle Hirsch gained 89 yards on the ground and finished with 13 tackles in the loss. Defensively, Andrew Gustad had 17 tackles and 2.5 for loss.

PARKER -- Menno/Marion scored two touchdowns in the final six minutes to pull away from Parker for its win of the season on Friday.

Payton Arbach scored on a 30-yard run with 5 minutes, 55 second left and Treyton Sayler scored with a little more than a minute to play to seal the win.
Arbach ran for 159 yards and a touchdown, while going 5 of 7 for 57 yards and a touchdown through the air. Sayler ran for 97 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries.
Lane Wieman ran for 98 yards on 17 attempts, while Colby Olson went 3 of 11 for -11 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for Parker.
The Razorbacks (1-3) travel to Baltic on Set. 18. The Pheasants (1-3) host Viborg-Hurley on Sept. 25.

CENTERVILLE -- Brady Bierema racked up 240 total yards and four touchdowns to send Avon past Centerville on Friday.
Bierema ran for 161 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries and caught four passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. He also had 2.5 tackles for a loss. Landon Mudder and Jaden Stahl both added rushing touchdowns, while Riley Ricktaeschel went 6 of 9 for 103 yards passing, while also recording 14 tackles.
Malachi Brouwer went 10 of 18 for 136 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Jack Walters ran for 78 yards and made an interception for the Tornadoes.
The Pirates (2-2) host Dell Rapids St. Mary on Sept. 18. The Tornadoes (0-3) travel to Scotland on Sept. 18.

FORESTBURG -- Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central scored 21 points in the first half to take down Stanley County on Friday.
Tryce Slykhuis went 3 of 5 passing for 82 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding another touchdown on the ground and coming up with an interception on defense. Quinten Christensen and Clay Olinger both caught touchdown passes for the Blackhawks.
Lathan Prince went 8 of 15 passing for 105 yards and an interception for Stanley County.

KADOKA -- Class 9B No. 4 Kadoka Area scored 30 points in the fourth quarter to pull away from Lyman on Friday.
T.J. Hamar went 6-for-7 for 159 yards and four touchdowns through the air, while adding 59 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. He also intercepted a pass on defense. Gaven Sudbeck (129) and Tyus Williams (128) both topped 100 rushing yards and combined for three touchdowns. Sudbeck also caught three touchdown passes for a combined 86 yards.
Teagan Gourneau worked around an interception for 265 yards and a touchdown. Colton Collins ran the ball 14 times for 194 yards and four touchdowns. Declan Cleveland finished with four touchdowns and 132 yards, while Tyson Floyd had 112 yards and a touchdown.
The Kougars (4-0) host Wall on Sept. 18. The Raiders (2-1) play Rapid City Christian on Sept. 18 in Hart Ranch.

CHESTER -- Stratton Eppard racked up 342 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns as Chester Area scored 21 points in the second quarter to pull away from Scotland in nine-man action on Friday.
Eppard paced the Flyers with 235 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 20 carries. He also went 10 of 18 passing for 107 yards and two touchdowns.
Turner Nicholson ran for 75 yards and a touchdown for Scotland. Dawson Bietz went 7 of 10 for 27 yards and ran for 32 yards.

BRIDGEWATER -- Koby Kayser scored five touchdowns for Class 11B No. 3 Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan.
Kayser scored three different ways, with touchdowns on the ground, in the punt game and through the air as a receiver. He gained 87 yards on 13 carries. Sam Hofer also rushed for a touchdown. Clay Hohn gained 71 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries in the win.
For Redfield, Corbin Schwartz had a team-high 15 tackles. Dylan Whitley and Troy Thompson both had 10 tackles.
The Seahawks (4-0) play McCook Central/Montrose on Sept. 18 in Bridgewater. The Pheasants (1-2) host Webster Area on Sept. 18.

Wolsey-Wessington 34, Gregory
WOLSEY -- Class 9B No. 1 Wolsey-Wessington handed Class 9A No. 3 Gregory its first loss of the season on Friday.
Marty Gohn ran for 194 yards and three touchdowns. Corbin Haarmeyer went 7 of 21 passing for 144 yards and a touchdown, while running for 66 yards. Tristan Abbot four receptions for 99 yards and touchdown, while adding a rushing touchdown to go along with nine tackles on defense for the Warbirds.
Coy Determan went 12 of 23 passing for 111 yards, while Jordan Bosika and Rylan Peck had rushing touchdowns for Gregory. Peck also had 12 tackles.
The Warbirds (3-0) play Corsica-Stickney on Sept. 18 in Corsica. The Gorillas (3-1) host Parkston on Sept. 15.
Parkston 32, Bon Homme 7
PARKSTON -- Parkston picked up its second win of the season over Bon Homme on Friday.
Cole Prunty finished with five touchdowns and 257 rushing yards and 109 passing yards. He had a 99-yard touchdown in the win.
Riley Rothschadl ran the ball 22 times for 154 yards and threw for 176 yards. He also added 10 tackles. Isaac Crownover recorded a team-high 13 tackles.
The Trojans (2-1) host Tripp-Delmont/Armour/Andes Central/Dakota Christian on Sept. 18. The Cavaliers (1-2) play Hanson on Sept. 18 in Tyndall.
