COLOME -- Class 9B No. 3 Colome stayed undefeated on Friday with a resounding 62-8 win over Class 9A No. 5 Alcester-Hudson.

Jackson Kinzer went 7 of 10 for 66 yards through the air, while also  adding 44 rushing yards and three total touchdowns for Colome. Chase Duffek ran for 92 yards on just six carries. Both of Beau Bertram’s rushing attempts resulted in touchdowns, while he also caught a 15-yard touchdown pass.

Three players broke the 100-yard barrier for the Hawks, as quarterback Trey Ortman ran for 195 yards and three touchdowns on 18 attempts, Austin Thu toted the ball 25 times for 184 yards and two touchdowns and Bailey Sage ran for 131 yards and three scores on 21 carries. Ortman also went 2 of 5 passing for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Trey King threw for 266 yards on 12 of 21 passing, along with three touchdowns and two interceptions for the Eagles, while also rushing for 104 yards and a score on 15 attempts. Brannon McDonald caught three passes for 130 yards in a losing effort for Irene-Wakonda.

For Centerville, Hunter Ellis threw for 27 yards, as well as ran for 36 yards on 13 attempts. Jack Walters recorded 27 yards on three receptions.

Lynden Williams ran for 213 yards and two touchdowns -- including an 88-yard scoring run -- while Devante Luellman had 184 yards on the ground for the Warbirds. Diedrich Offt also had a rushing touchdown and an interception on defense.

Javen Holan went 15 of 29 for 216 yards through the air to go along with two touchdowns and an interception. Carter Fredericksen ran for 83 yards and caught six passes for 78 yards. Kordel Kiehn also caught six passes for 84 yards in defeat for Kimball/White Lake.
