PARKSTON -- Parkston started quickly to take down Menno, 61-45, in boys basketball action on Monday at the Parkston Classic.
Parkston (2-3): Kaleb Weber scored a team-high 16 points, while Max Scott added 12 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks and four steals. Cole Prunty chipped in nine points and four steals in the win. Parkston had 21 steals as a team. The Trojans play Hanson on Jan. 5 in Alexandria.
Menno (0-4): Kadeyn Ulmer finished with 17 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Ajay Herrboldt scored eight points. The Wolves host Howard on Jan. 5.

PARKSTON -- Sully Buttes escaped with a one-point win over Canistota in the Parkston Classic on Monday.
Sully Buttes (3-2): Stevie Wittler scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds in the win. Lydia Hill scored 11 points and Allyson Wittler chipped in nine points and four rebounds. The Chargers play Mobridge-Pollock on Saturday in Mobridge.
Canistota (1-3): Mykkah Krinke scored a game-high 17 points for the Hawks. Kenzy Krinke added nine points, eight rebounds and four steals. The Hawks play Irene-Wakonda on Jan. 4 in Irene.

PARKSTON -- Viborg-Hurley cruised past Scotland for a Parkston Classic win on Monday in girls basketball action.
Viborg-Hurley (5-0): Sydney Voss finished with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists. NeVaeh Ronke stuffed the stat sheet with eight points, 10 rebounds, five steals and four blocks. Coral Mason scored a team-high 16 points to go with five steals. The Cougars play Deubrook Area on Wednesday in Sioux Falls.
Scotland (1-3): Grace Fryda scored 14 points. Delanie VanDriel added 10 points. The Highlanders host Gayville-Volin on Jan.5
