ETHAN -- Class B No. 4 Ethan cruised past Wagner, 52-39, for a girls basketball win on Monday.

Ethan (15-2): Ava Lingemann scored a team-high 14 points for the Rustlers. Hannah Bartscher and Maddy Bartscher each added 11 points in the win. Lexi Lingemann chipped in 10 points and six rebounds. The Rustlers play Mount Vernon/Plankinton on Thursday in Plankinton.

Wagner (4-11): Shalayne Nagel and Macy Koupal each had a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double. The Red Raiders play Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Tuesday in Armour.

Chamberlain 55, Lyman 27

PRESHO -- Chamberlain had a pair of double-digit scorers as it topped Lyman for its 10th girls basketball win of the season on Monday.

Chamberlain (10-8): Emma Powers scored a game-high 21 points, while making seven 3-pointers. Mya Knippling chipped in 18 points and 13 boards. The Cubs travel to Wagner on Friday.

Lyman (2-14): Skylar Volmer finished with 13 points. Tanna Wells added six points and six rebounds for the Raiders. Makaylee Scott grabbed seven boards. The Raiders travel to Philip on Thursday.

MENNO -- Menno notched a girls basketball win over Bridgewater-Emery on Monday.

Menno (11-5): Morgan Edelman poured in 23 points to go with eight rebounds, four assists and four steals for the Wolves. Jesse Munvold added 18 points and Paityn Huber scored 10 points. Ashton Massey pulled down eight boards. The Wolves play Jones County on Friday at the Corn Palace.

Bridgewater-Emery (9-7): Morgan Uptagrafft scored 12 points. Kerrigan Schultz added 11 points. The Huskies travel to Scotland on Thursday.

HURLEY -- Viborg-Hurley picked up a girls basketball win over Canistota on Monday.

Viborg-Hurley (13-2): Sydney Voss recorded 15 points and nine rebounds. Nevaeh Ronke chipped in 12 points, nine boards, three blocks and two steals for the Cougars. Coral Mason added seven points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals. The Cougars travel to Parker on Tuesday.

Canistota (4-13): Natalie Becker led the Hawks with 13 points. Mykkah Krinke added eight points. The Hawks host Chester Area on Friday.

ETHAN -- Ethan had five double-digit scorers in a boys basketball victory over Wagner on Monday.


Ethan (12-5): Riley Endres paced the Rustlers with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Jay Storm added 13 points in the win. Eric Gustafson and Kody Klumb each added 12 points, while Josh Bartscher posted 11 points and eight rebounds. The Rustlers play Mount Vernon/Plankinton on Thursday in Plankinton.

Wagner (8-6): Dustin Honomichl finished with 23 points. Toby Zephier scored 21 points for the Red Raiders. Nolan Carda chipped in 11 points. The Red Raiders play Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Tuesday in Armour.
