ALEXANDRIA -- Hanson turned a three-point halftime lead into a 63-42 boys basketball win over Ethan on Friday.

Hanson (1-0): Noah Price paced the Beavers with 21 points, while Luke Haiar netted 15 points and logged four steals. Hayden Bahmuller collected 10 rebounds. The Beavers play McCook Central/Montrose on Tuesday in Salem.

Ethan (0-1): Jay Storm put in 11 points, while Riley Endres finished with 10 points. The Rustlers host Andes Central/Dakota Christian on Tuesday.
