PARKSTON -- Landon Sudbeck threw a one-hit shutout to power Parkston/Ethan/Tripp to a 6-0 win over Dakota Valley on Monday.
Sudbeck struck out 10 batters and issued four walks in 101 pitches through seven innings.
Offensively, Brayden Jervik and Jon Akre each logged two hits apiece. Logan Heidinger, Max Scott, Isaak Bialas, T.J. Schmidt and Jay Storm each had hits. Heidinger and Schmidt each drove in a run.
Isaac Bruns took the loss for Dakota Valley. Bruns went four innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking zero.
Wagner 2, Elk Point-Jefferson 0
ELK POINT -- Nolan Carda logged 14 strikeouts in Wagner’s high school baseball win over Elk Point-Jefferson on Monday.

Carda didn’t surrendered a hit, a run and issued four walks through six innings. Reliever Dustin Honomichl struck out three batters in one inning to earn the save.
Nolan Dvorak led Wagner with two hits. Carda, Honomichl, Matt Link and Corbin Carda each had hits.
Howard 5, Hamlin Area 4
CANOVA -- Luke Koespell scored on a wild pitch to propel Howard to a walk-off win over Hamlin Area on Monday.
Riley Genzlinger led Howard with two hits, while Ryder Erickson had Howard’s other hit. Starter Samuel Callies finished with three strikeouts, allowed two hits and one run in 3 1/3 innings. Koepsell finished with five strikeouts, allowed two hits and three earned runs in three innings.
