The Stump Shooters Archery Club in Mitchell will host its annual carp shoot at 8 a.m. Sunday at the outdoor range by Mitchell Airport.
Registration runs from 7-8 a.m. with a cost of $20 per two-person team. Only cash payments are accepted.
Rules for the event will be announced before the competition starts and payback will be based on the number of entries and awarded for largest fish.
Waivers must be turned in to participate and can be picked up early at K&B Archery. Minors need a parent or guardian to sign waivers.
A South Dakota fishing license is required for shooters age 16 and older. Boats and on-shore shooting is allowed.
