PARKSTON-Phil Johnson pitched Dimock/Emery to a 7-0 Sunshine League amateur baseball victory over Parkston on Thursday at The Pond.

Johnson tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing seven hits and striking out six. He also contributed at the plate with a pair of hits. Jed Schmidt and Jason Schmidt each had two hits and an RBI, including both hitting a double.

For Parkston, Brady Nolz allowed seven runs and 11 hits, while striking out eight in a complete game. Jeff Harris led Parkston with two hits, including a double.

Dimock/Emery (11-9, 6-6 Sunshine League) hosts Aberdeen on Saturday in Emery. The Raptors will play Corsica/Stickney in Corsica on Sunday. Parkston (9-11-1, 4-8 Sunshine League) travels to Garretson today.

Four Corners 5, Plankinton 2

PLANKINTON-Adam Kaus threw a complete game for Four Corners to help it get by Plankinton in a Pony Hills League amateur baseball game on Thursday.

Kaus struck out three batters and allowed two earned runs on seven hits and three walks. At the plate, J.D. Farley led the team with three hits, helping Four Corners outhit Plankinton 8-7. Andy McCloud and Justin Lester each drove in a run.

Tyler Waddle paved the way at the plate for Plankinton as he went 4-for-5. Trevor Salmonson went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Travis Gant was hurt by six errors as he gave up five runs (one earned) on eight hits and three walks, while striking out five.

Four Corners (7-3 Pony Hills) hosts South Central on Sunday. Plankinton (8-2 Pony Hills) hosts Kimball/White Lake on Sunday.

Chamberlain 6, Kimball/White Lake 3

KIMBALL-Zach Zimprich's complete game effort helped the Chamberlain Mallards to a road Pony Hills League amateur baseball victory on Thursday.

Zimprich had five strikeouts and allowed four hits in the win. Mike Schwartz had a two-RBI double to open the scoring for the Mallards and Remington Rossow had an RBI single as part of a four-run fourth inning.

For KWL, Jordan Hanten had two RBIs. Brian Zeman took the complete game loss, striking out five for the Nationals.

Chamberlain (4-7 Pony Hills) travels to Miller on Sunday. Kimball/White Lake (4-6 Pony Hills) travels to Plankinton on Sunday.
