Alexandria native Jerrod Zens committed Wednesday to play baseball at Dakota Wesleyan University. The senior outfielder at Hanson High School batted .282 last season for the Beavers, and was named an All-Region outfielder.
Zens also batted .309 with 21 RBIs with the Miner-McCook County Legion baseball team in the summer.
