ALCESTER-Alcester-Hudson topped Scotland in high school boys basketball action on Monday in Alcester.

Gavin Doering scored 15 points, while Grant Johnson and Samuel Jensen contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively for the Cubs. Alcester-Hudson went 18-of-43 for 41 percent on two-point baskets and 2-of-13 from behind the arc for 15 percent.

Tanner Skorepa led Scotland with 16 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. The Highlanders made 10 total field goals in the loss.

Scotland (4-8) plays Wagner on Thursday in Wagner. Alcester-Hudson (8-5) plays Viborg-Hurley today in Viborg.
