TUSLA, Okla.-After winning his first three matches by forfeit on the second day of the USAW Greco-Roman Junior National Duals, Chamberlain's Nash Hutmacher made quick work of his final opponent.
Hutmacher pinned Louisiana's Roberto Rivera for the second consecutive day, this time in 43 seconds as South Dakota picked up its first win. South Dakota lost its first two duals of the day in the Red/Blue Division to Alaska 41-27, Nebraska Blue 45-25 and Nebraska Red 36-27 to finish seventh.
Winner's Wyatt Turnquist rebounded from a technical fall in his first match against Alaska's Aidan Ehmann at 138 pounds to win his final three matches. Turnquist pinned Nebraska Blue's Carter Kucera in 2 minutes, 14 seconds, before beat Nebraska Red's Brody Arrants by technical fall, 10-0. He finished the day with a 13-2 technical fall over Louisiana's Jordan Griffin.
The USAW Freestyle Junior National Duals begin today and run through Saturday.
