BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-Mitchell native Tevyn Waddell concluded the Big Ten Championships with a trio of top-five finishes. The University of Minnesota junior's performances earned her a spot on the all-Big Ten second team, as well as helping the Golden Gophers finish fourth in the team standings.

On Friday, the junior swam the 100 butterfly in 52 seconds to place third. She also placed fourth in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 52.28 seconds. Her final race came on Saturday as Waddell placed fourth in the 200 backstroke in 1:53.68.

Waddell and Minnesota compete in the NCAA Championships on March 20-23 in Austin, Texas.
