PIERRE-Chamberlain High School competed in a gymnastics triangular at Pierre on Monday, placing two in the top five of the individual all-around, but could not overcome its host.

Pierre won the meet with 124.20 points, while the Cubs came in second with 116.90 and Stanley County was third with 107.55.

Allison Hough placed second in the all-around for Chamberlain, recording a total score of 31.10. The eighth-grader took first place in the uneven bars, with a score of 7.30, while also placing second in the floor exercise and the vault.

Chamberlain's Alyssa Allen recorded the best all-around score of her career (30.70), which was good enough for fourth place. Allen also came in fourth in the bars and her score of 7.00 was another personal best.

The Chamberlain JV team also finished second to Pierre.

The Cubs compete in the Madison Invitational on Saturday.
