Dakota Wesleyan University's Hayden Adams was named to the American Football Coaches Association NAIA Coaches' All-America First Team on Monday.

Adams, a 6-foot-1 wide receiver, hauled in 81 catches for 1,472 yards and 18 touchdowns in his senior season with the Tigers. He finished his career as the school's all-time leader in career receiving yards (3,243), receiving yards in a season and receptions in a season.

The Villa Park, Ill. native set single game records for receiving yards (254) and receptions (18) against Doane on Sept. 16. He also ranks second in DWU history in career receptions with 213 and in scoring with 258 points.
