DWU women's soccer team blanks Grace

OMAHA, Neb. — The Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team shutout Grace University 2-0 in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday.

Hannah Bowes recorded a shutout in the goal for DWU, as she tallied four saves in the win.

Brittany Forsman put the Tigers on the board in the 26th minute as DWU scored in each period of the contest. In the 77th minute, Gemini Wesley found the net to put the game out of reach for Grace.

DWU outshout Grace 21-7. Courtney Mascarenas and Alexandria Jacobs added four shots on goal in the win.

The Tigers (3-0) open Great Plains Athletic Conference play against in-state rival Mount Marty College at 1 p.m. on Saturday in Yankton.
