INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The South Dakota State women's basketball team was edged by IUPUI 63-60 on Thursday night in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Junior Kerri Young tallied 11 points and sophomore Macy Miller added four points in the loss. Freshman Madison Guebert had a game-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers.

The Jackrabbits pulled within one thanks to a layup from Miller with 5:54 left to play.

SDSU (22-6, 12-3 Summit) travels to Macomb, Illinois as they take on Western Illinois in their final regular-season game at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The Jackrabbits must win on Saturday to secure to No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.
