SIOUX FALLS -- The South Dakota State women's basketball team is back on top in the Summit League.

Mitchell native Macy Miller led the Jackrabbits over the University of South Dakota 72-57 in the Summit League Tournament championship game Tuesday afternoon, earning a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

SDSU has won six of the last seven Summit League Tournament titles.

Miller had team-highs six rebounds and 19 points, going 5-of-9 from the field and 9-of-9 from the free throw line. Ellie Thompson added 18 points, while former Mitchell Kernel Kerri Young grabbed four rebounds for SDSU, which shot 43.4 percent from the field, 27 percent from behind the arc and 85 percent from the line.

USD was led by Nicole Seekamp with a game-high 21 points and five assists, while Margaret McCloud added 13 points and eight rebounds. The Coyotes shot 31 percent from the field, 6 percent from three-point range and 78 percent from the line.
