U.S. Marshals Service officers and local law enforcement on Friday night in Dawson, Minnesota, arrested a suspect in a quadruple shooting in St. Cloud. Two other men charged in the same incident had been apprehended earlier.
Seth Larson, who shot a high-powered pellet gun during a house party, was sentenced to five years of probation, a stayed prison term and local confinement but credited for time served. The victim had to have a number of pellets removed, including one that lodged in his lung.

Two felony charges and 10 other lesser charges have been filed in Meeker County District Court against the Dassel man who barricaded himself in his home Monday and Tuesday after reports that he had threatened a family member. SWAT teams from several agencies responded, and he eventually surrendered. Officers found evidence in the home that they believe indicates the man fired in the direction of law enforcement.

Jeramy John Wharton, who has already been convicted and sentenced in three other criminal sexual conduct cases involving young girls, has now been sentenced in a fourth. For sexually assaulting a young girl from 2014 through 2016, Wharton was handed a 300-month prison sentence on Tuesday.
