To the Editor:
A transparent person has no secrets and tells no lies. Rep. Howard, a South Dakota legislator, was asked to pull a bill she sponsored that would have amended a law to allow for the disclosure of taxpayer dollars used to provide security for the current governor as she traveled around the country in support of the ex-president.
I sure hope Rep. Howard doesn’t do this because I would like to see how legislators vote on this issue. I also wouldn't mind an accounting of the taxpayer dollars used to host the campaign event on behalf of the ex-president at Mount Rushmore in July.
My fear is that next we may be funding trips to Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
